At No Cost to Your School

Referral of Qualified Teachers with Advance Degrees

Teachers Council can help your school or center maintain and raise the rating of your early childhood education services at no cost to you in conjunction with their professional referral services. With training stipends and government assistance becoming more limited, Teachers Council offers an excellent opportunity for your school to maintain and increase state funding for your programs, such as Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) or Florida Pathways.

The Program Supervisor, Ms. Andrea Seidman, has advanced degrees in curriculum development and brain research with a focus on Early Childhood Education, with 30 years experience in the field. She is a Master Instructor for the Early Childhood Administrator Credential. Ms. Seidman can work with your organization and help you meet your goals. Services include providing:

• Professional development courses to meet the VPK annual hour requirements, Continuing Education Credits, and College Credits for Certifications.
• Staff preparation and onsite mentoring for the Environmental Rating Scale (QRS/ERS & includes ITERS, ECERS, SACERS scales).
• Continuing education course for the National Administrator Credential that meets Director requirements in Florida, other U.S. states and abroad (equivalent for 6 college credits).
• No cost referral services of qualified teachers with advanced degrees in Education for every VPK program.
• Staffing skills and strategies for teacher selection process and successful hiring.
• Curricula that is user friendly for VPK and QRS/ERS success, including onsite mentoring for curricular instructional strategies, staff performance, national accreditation (NECPA) and/or VPK high performance.
• Modern educational technologies to enhance the instructional strategies in classroom; establish a “Brain-Friendly” environment for parents, children, and staff.
• Techniques to motivate and encourage staff to develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
